Berluti, the Parisian shoemaker founded in 1895, has opened a second Australian store, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The first Australian flagship opened on Melbourne’s Collins Street last year.

A destination for the world’s best luxury brands, the new Berluti boutique is ideally situated within the prestigious Westfield shopping centre. The spacious 80 square metre store perfectly captures the maison’s heritage and displays the latest offering of leather goods, shoes and accessories.

Incorporating the brand’s new design codes, the boutique boasts an air of quiet, restrained masculinity. Wood floors laid in a traditional herringbone pattern have been given a modern twist with over-sized blond-grey planks. Plaster walls are hand-finished in a warm-grey tone to evoke the subtle effect of natural stone.

In celebration of the opening, Berluti created a set of colour patina: Blood, Cambridge, Deep Black, Mogano and Nero Blu on the Un Jour Mini briefcase. A smaller version of the classic Un Jour briefcase which boasts roomy inside storage, enough for a laptop and more, whilst remaining compact in volume. The collection is available exclusively at the Sydney boutique, now.
