CAMILLA AND MARC’s SS19 (AW19 Northern Hemisphere) presentation was showcased on Wooster Street in the heart of Soho. An airy space, including New York’s signature high ceilings and huge loft proportions was fitting for the premium, new collection.

Signature CAMILLA AND MARC touches, including designer Mid Century Italian furnishings, Gaspare Asaro steel geometria tables and plush velvet and boucle couches brought its effortless style to New York.

An atelier, offering custom SS19 blazers to international editors and influencers attending the presentation brought much to New York Fashion Week. With six styles from SS19 (AW19 Northern Hemisphere) and three core signature blazers to select from, tailors were on hand to help fit the key looks.

The SS19 collection was inspired by the notion of otherworldliness; When there is much uncertainty in the world, we look beyond the physical for meaning. Uncertainty dissolves in the strength and surety of the CAMILLA AND MARC woman who stands strong, steadfast and optimistic. It is here she represents the future woman.

Tailoring was key, beating at the heart of the collection. Lines were strong, yet sensual against sharp fabrications in a mix of lightweight wool and cotton suiting.

An earthy colour palette of mulberry, tobacco, cinnamon and copper was punctuated by fresh burst of citrus, opium blue and jade.

Key standout pieces of the collection included a classic, relaxed double breasted jacket with stab stitched detailing, paired back with flared trousers in dove blue lightweight wool. Feminine contoured silhouettes cut in a subtle textured prince of wales check and double weave cotton twill added a timeless summer element.
