Tod's open first Australian boutique at Westfield Sydney


Tod's, the world's most comfortable and innately chic shoe brand has officially landed in Australia.

The event, to unveil the 1st Australian Tod's boutique, had names like theToday Show's Lisa Wikinson, 7's Tom Williams, Grace Huang, Emma Lung and Michael Wipfli aka "Wippa" on the cast list.

To celebrate its first opening, TOD’S especially flew in an artisan from Italy to demonstrate the craftsmanship in making Tod’s classic gommino shoes, to show the true art of "Made in Italy".

The boutique adopts the brand’s new interior concept, features an exquisite combination of tones of ivory, black and grey and exclusively- made pieces of furniture, like leather sofas and steel and marble tables, to provide a comfortable, yet elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.Befitting the TOD’S brand, a selection of high-end interior design materials were used such as bright steel shelves on a background of grey Travertino marble, natural leather and elegant wood panels to enrich the walls as well as Pierre Bleu marbles for the floors.

In addition, the use of customized carpets, in light grey for the women’s section and dark brown with rhombus pattern for the men’s section, elegantly distinguishes the spaces and adds a modern design touch. This modern classic environment features a wide range of TOD’S bag, shoes and accessories, a beautiful collection with elegant shapes and color for both men and women with a contemporary lifestyle.
