Jennifer Hawkins and Jess Hart set the Myer spring mood . . . .

Myer recently produced their Spring Summer 2012/13 advertising campaign in the always picturesque location of South Africa in the diverse landscapes of Pilansberg National Park in South Africa. it obviously made for the perfect backdrop, ranging from lush forests, soaring mountains, stony deserts, verdant grasslands and African savannahs.

It was all put together in partnership with the South African Tourism Board and with the support of South African Airlines and the South African Government.

Myer’s Spring Summer campaign takes us fashion fans on an adventure to the 'land of light and colour with warm sunsets, vibrant and exotic animals and a culture rich in pattern and print that support the dominant theme of colour this Spring Summer 2012/13 season'.

Myer Ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins, Jessica Hart and Kris Smith headline the campaign along with international models Caitlin Lomax and Vinnie Woolston.
The campaign is photographed by Will Davidson and styled by Naomi Smith features a great range of renowned Australian Designers including sass & bide, Ellery, Fleur Wood, Manning Cartell, Jayson Brunsdon, Nicola Finetti, Morrison, Aurelio Costarella and Toni Maticevski.

International Model and Myer Ambassador Jessica Hart traveled from New York to shoot the Spring Summer campaign and stated ‘I was so excited to be in South Africa shooting the Myer Spring Summer campaign. I’d been there before and it is beautiful. South Africa has a combination of nature, wildlife, adventure, & culture. I wish I could have spent more time there.”

Inspired by new fashion and new frontiers, South Africa set the scene perfectly for our spring summer collections. Women should embrace prints, colour and texture. Be inspired by bold brights from Magdalena Velevska and Wayne Cooper and soft pastels from Manning Cartell and Ellery.

Nicola Finetti and McQ by Alexander McQueen have featured psychedelic prints, with sass & bide embracing jigsaw - style clashes. Jayson Brunsdon, Fleur Wood and Morrison have touched on texture, whether it be embroidery, lace or leather detailing.

Myer will show their Spring/summer at a VIP event in Sydney on August 16 . .  .Roll on Spring . .  .

 


Penelope Cruz flogs Campari ... and doesn't put a chic foot wrong . . .

 

Today, Campari® is officially unveiling Penelope Cruz as the star of the 2013 Campari Calendar, which will be captured by Paris-based fashion photographer, Kristian Schuller.

The Spanish Oscar winning actress takes the lead in the 2013 edition making her the 14th star to feature in the world renowned Calendar.

Penelope, who was the first Spanish actress in history to receive an Academy Award, is following in the footsteps of some of the world’s most elegant women who have adorned the pages of previous Campari Calendars, including, Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba and Milla Jovovich.  The Spanish beauty, has previously starred in movies such as ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’, ‘Volver’ ‘Pirates of the Carribean’ and ‘Non ti Muovere’.
On starring in the 2013 Campari Calendar, Penelope Cruz comments: “The Campari Calendar consistently works with talented and creative teams and photographers to produce world-class imagery. I have really enjoyed working in this project for one of the world’s most iconic brands, particularly with such an amazing history attached to it. I really feel that Campari fans across the globe will love the imagery when they see the finished Calendar, the theme in itself is intense, captivating and chic.”

Kristian Schuller is the latest photographer to capture the renowned Campari Calendar, for its 14th edition.  Kristian will be bringing his distinctive style and ability to push the boundaries of editorial imagery to create the dramatic photography which will make up the 2013 Campari Calendar.
Paris-based Kristian began his career studying fashion design with Vivienne Westwood and photography with F.C. Gundlach at the University of Fine Arts Berlin.
