Australian designer Daniel Avakian demonstrated the DA PRIVATA Brand recently on an episode of The Bachelorette Australia unveiling the new fashion offering and linked to the 3D body scanning platform.

Creating a series of custom pieces designed exclusively for the reality program’s leading lady, Ali Oetjen and bachelor Todd King, Australia received an insider’s glimpse into the pioneering technology geared to create a new and revolutionary shopping experience for the DA Customer.

“I am thrilled with the opportunity to show how our DA fashion and 3D body scanning technology works together to allow Customers to realise ‘dream creations’ resulting in perfect fit and whilst allowing them to shop from home or anywhere convenient.” said Avakian.

“What we’re doing with 3D body scanning defines the future of fashion by linking latest phone / computer app technology and ‘on trend DA fashion’ no matter when or where in the world fashion inspiration comes from, with the ability to shop / buy where it is convenient for Customers – all with a perfect fit guarantee.” he said.

‘The future is here – where /fashion meets technology’. The old model of factory to wholesaler to retailer to Customer is obsolete – it’s all about ‘right now’ – not this season, which was actually designed at least 3 to 6 months earlier than hitting the shops – and we’re leading the way here in Australia.”

DA’s bespoke ‘occasion glamour’ is signature among the Celebrity circuit, with DA PRIVATA creations recently dominating the TV Week Logies and Dally M red carpets with over a dozen national and international Celebrities stepping out in DA PRIVATA designs (all enhanced by 3D body-scanning and fitting perfectly).

Avakian’s custom couture creations reveal the Brand’s DA PRIVATA experience, while the recent launch of DA TAILORED extends the DA Brand. 3D body scanning precision and high fashion ethos to daily, mens and womens corporate wear including more formal suiting, jacketing, skirts and pants with less formal co-ordinates including shirting, chinos, overcoats, plus silk tops and bottoms and stretch knit and stretch leather.

“We are currently in Phase 1 of our Brand portfolio roll-out involving the pre-launch of mens and womens collections for contemporary corporate wear, DA TAILORED to the corporate market.” said DA Brand National Sales Manager, Julia Lasevich.

This evolution of the Brand joins an overall objective to rapidly increase the DA product offering and to grow the Brand globally via several strategically selected distribution networks.

“Our aim is to drive the customisation opportunity to many more Customers with the core values of on-trend fashion, world best quality (in fabrics and construction), gender pricing equality, convenience, sustainability, and direct to Customer prices thus avoiding additional retail margins.” said Avakian.

The DA Brand will continue to push forward with the launch of ‘DA LIMITED’ in 2019. Styled under Daniel’s coveted, fashion forward design aesthetic, DA LIMITED will bring an edge to the DA Brand ‘after 5 and weekend wear’ with directional looks inspired by current culture.
