Australian fashion designer Jayson Brunsdon and his partner Aaron Elias could finally, legally, tie the knot after 19 years together . . . and a baby boy, Roman – who is now a toddler and was given the job as being ring bearer at an exquisite celebration, next to the Macquarie Lighthouse in Sydney’s Vaucluse.

Both Jayson and Aaron have been strong advocates for marriage equality for many, many years so it was only appropriate they decided to make their union legal exactly 20 years since they met.

Under the guidance of Design guru Alex Zabotto-Bentley and ‘VIP’ entrepreneur Karim Gharbi, the crystal blue day was the perfect backdrop as guests came out in their afternoon finery to a magical garden.

Guests included Leona Edmiston, Peter Morrissey, Marcia Hines, Nicole Bonython, Shelley Sullivan (who is off to Paris soon to unveil her beauty collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld) Nikki Andrews, Kellie Barker, designer Arthur Galan (who dressed the grooms), doctor Dick Quan, Jill Waddy, Louise Patrick, Jono Ward and the gorgeous Sophie De Bortoli.

Guests wandered around the gorgeous green grounds as waiters twirled around with food beautifully created by the families of the grooms and wines from De Bortoli.

A full moon. A sea breeze. Dancing. And lots of love. Who could ask for anything more?
