A message of solidarity and closeness: Dolce&Gabbana has launched the #DGLovesAustralia project, with the aim of supporting the country, particularly those affected by the recent violent fires.

Colorful, majestic and ancient: the Waratah, flower of Australia, holds many meanings rich in history and value. Synonymous with strength, vital energy and healing, this red flower gives the courage to face and overcome the challenges of life. Only this could be the symbol of the exclusive #DGLovesAustralia project.

By creating an exclusive T-shirt depicting the Waratah and the slogan #DGLovesAustralia, Dolce&Gabbana intends to help support the country following the enormous damage caused by the recent fires, which have brought to its knees the island symbol for diversity of animal species.

The proceeds from the sales will support the Australian organization Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) to help the areas devastated by the recent fires.

The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal is a not-for-profit organisation that harnesses the power of collective investment between government, business and philanthropy to improve the lives of those living in rural, regional and remote Australia.

FRRR has a long history of supporting disaster-affected communities to recover and build their resilience to future disasters, having provided more than $19m to locally-led recovery and preparedness initiatives since 2006.

Available for both men and women in a total number of 1000 pieces, the T-shirt can be purchased worldwide on the online store world.dolcegabbana.com and in selected Dolce&Gabbana boutiques in Australia.
