The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T has officially made its debut in Sydney, the very first appearance in Australasia following its international premiere at the Paris Motor Show in September.

The first four-seater in Prancing Horse history to sport a turbo-charged V8 engine, the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T hails a whole new Ferrari GT concept that’s aimed at owners seeking a car that is sporty, versatile, and ideal for driving on a daily basis. Yup. Perfect for the school run hey?

The car’s 3.9-litre V8 turbo is the latest evolution to emerge from the engine family that was nominated the 2016 International Engine of the Year.

I won’t go into all the torque and rpm’s and power output – it’s Ferrari so I’m free sure you get the picture – but the car peeps are saying the very hot V8 wheels would suit ‘day-to-day driving in urban contexts: a rich powerful soundtrack in acceleration that becomes more muted at lower speeds, rapid pick-up from low revs courtesy of versatile, modular torque delivery and, last but not least, excellent range.’

By the way, it’s a four seater. See, perfect for the school run!

“The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T has all the superior qualities Ferrari owners have come to admire in the brand and we are certain that the Ferraristi in Australia and New Zealand are going to love this model, the first-ever Ferrari with four seats and a V8 engine,” said Mr. Herbert Appleroth, CEO of Ferrari Australasia.

The Australasian premiere of the GTC4Lusso T took place at the renowned Italian restaurant, Bar Machiavelli, in Sydney’s Rushcutters Bay with the unveiled car being the Grigio Titanio with a red leather interior.

Ok, ok, you want to know the price, don’t you? Well. Gulp. Let’s say it’s just over $500,000.
See, I said dream . . . . . .
