We might have had a few drops of rain in the past few days but the drought is far from over. Our farmers are on their knees and everybody needs to do something to help.

The Three Blue Ducks are stepping up, gathering together some of the best chefs in the country, for two drought relief fundraising dinners in Rosebery (Tuesday 4 September) and Byron Bay (Wednesday 5 September).

In Rosebery, the line up includes James Viles (Biota), Andy Bowdy (Saga), Monty Koludrovic (Icebergs Dining Room + Bar, The Dolphin), Clayton Wells (Automata, A1 Canteen), Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters), David Moyle (Long Song), Mat Lindsay (Ester, Poly), Matt Stone and Jo Barrett (Oakridge) and Duncan Welgemoed (Africola). Guests will be treated to an epic four-course dinner, with a selection of wines, beers, and cocktails managed by award-winning bartender, Tim Phillips of Bulletin Place and Deadringer. The menu will showcase the chefs’ signature dishes from their respective restaurants and venues. Tickets are $220 per person and can be booked here.

In Byron, chefs from Harvest, 100 mile table, Raes at Wategoes, Fleet, Byron at Byron, Nomadic Kitchen, Paper Daisy, Shelter & Bread Social join The Ducks to create an exceptional three-course dinner, with wines from Quealy, beers from Stone & Wood and cocktails by Brookies Gin. Tickets are $150 and can be booked here.

“It’s heartbreaking to see what is happening across the state and as chefs, we work so closely with these farmers and producers that we have to do our part and help them out in some way”, says Three Blue Ducks’ Mark LaBrooy.

Book your place and let’s all do our bit to help our farmers.

All monies raised will be donated to Rural Aid – https://www.ruralaid.org.au/
