Local Australian editors, VIPs and customers, along with Michel Gonzalez President for Tory Burch APAC celebrated the company’s growth into the Australian market with the launch of its first boutique in Sydney at Westfield Bondi Junction, known as one of the city’s key, luxury shopping destinations.

The evening began with an in-store cocktail party for customers at the new boutique, allowing guests to explore the retail space, whilst enjoying champagne and canapes.

Following the in-store event, Michel and the Tory Burch team hosted an intimate dinner at Chiswick Woollahra, a much loved Sydney restaurant. Guests included Anna Feller, Romy Frydman, Aileen Marr, Katherine Green, Penny McCarthy, Naomi Smith, Rachel Wayman, Zara Wong and Lee Oliveira.

Several guests wore pieces from the Tory Burch collection:

Romy Frydman wore Fall 2018 Michaela caftan in multi patchwork
Anna Feller wore Pre-Fall 2018 Sasha dress, Sofia blouse and the Half-Moon micro satchel
Katherine Green wore Pre-Fall 2018 Bianca dress in geometric patchwork
Zara Wong wore Pre-Fall 2018 Hollis cardigan and skirt
Penny McCarthy wore Pre-Fall 2018 Kimberly tunic and tie-front printed beach pant
Aileen Marr wore Pre-Fall 2018 Nicola dress

The Westfield Bondi Junction boutique opening marks the beginning of the brand’s expansion in Australia, which brings Tory Burch’s unique design sensibility to the region. The brand already has a strong Australian customer base with women shopping the collection while traveling to cities around the world, in addition to the strong following on social media; its fragrances with Estée Lauder launched in the region last year in anticipation of the store’s opening. In addition, shoes and handbags will debut at select David Jones locations and on the department store’s e-commerce site in August.
