After 15 years of extensive work, Laurent-Perrier is proud to launch La Cuvée. In La Cuvée Laurent-Perrier has created the perfect balance between freshness and a complex bouquet.

This new addition to the Laurent-Perrier range embodies the spirit of the Maison and becomes the flagship of the House style, replacing Laurent-Perrier Brut. La Cuvée will be available in Australia from August 2017.

Purity, freshness and elegance remain Laurent-Perrier’s core attributes and these are truly exemplified in La Cuvée.

Laurent-Perrier’s commitment to continually improve and the opportunity to source new grape supplies has allowed Cellar Master, Michel Fouconnet, to create this new expression.

Blended with 50-55% Chardonnay, nearly double the average in Champagne, this wine is created with only the purest grape juice.

This alone allows Laurent-Perrier to craft La Cuvée, a Champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a four year ageing process.

“At Laurent-Perrier we always sought to continually improve the quality of our Brut champagnes.

No fewer than 100 different crus enter into the “La Cuvée” blend”, says Cellar Master, Michel Fouconnet. “Laurent-Perrier’s expertise and commitment to quality come together in La Cuvée to create a true vin de plaisir which exemplifies the House style”.

The mouth yields a fine mineral taste with pronounced aromas and purity. A good length on the palate and very long-lasting aromas characterise the wine. The higher percentage of Chardonnay reveals a nose with hints of fresh citrus and white flowers.

This fresh and pure wine is perfect for an aperitif and an ideal champagne to accompany poultry and the finest fishes. Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée will be available through selected independent wine stores and by the bottle at Sepia Restaurant, Sydney.
