Maxi-Cash has opened its much anticipated first Australian retail boutique, LuxeSTYLE by Maxi-Cash, which is set to transform the local luxury retail market by making it more affordable and accessible to everyday consumers.

Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, the flagship boutique is dedicated to offering the best variety of pre-loved luxury timepieces, designer leather bags and branded jewellery, including gold, diamonds, precious stones and pearls, at irresistible prices.

Showcasing the most coveted and reputable labels from around the world – including Rolex, Cartier, Bvlgari, Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton and many more – shoppers can expect to find luxury items on offer at LuxeSTYLE by Maxi-Cash that are handpicked under the strictest inspection to ensure authenticity and top notch quality.

In addition to offering affordable, pre-loved luxury items and a selection of brand new designed jewellery, Maxi-Cash will give customers the opportunity to bring in their pre-loved or unused bags, timepieces or jewellery to monetise them in exchange for cash or upgrade to a new style or model.

Maxi-Cash has led the highly regulated pawn brokerage industry for the past decade in Singapore, and with its launch in Melbourne will bring its modernised take on pawnbroking to Australian shores – offering customers not just a fast cash loan with competitive interest, but transparency and reliability as an alternative financing solution.

Maxi-Cash CEO Ng Leok Cheng said the decision to open its first Australian store in Melbourne was motivated by the fashion status of the city as well as the local demand for luxury goods and gold, particularly amongst the local Asian market.

“As an established and a trusted retailer in Asia, we specifically had our eyes set on one of the world’s most livable cities and the fashion capital of Australia, Melbourne, to open our first Australian Maxi-Cash store,” said Cheng.

“24K and 22K gold, luxury jewellery and timepieces, which all retain their value for years to come, are in high demand the world over and we were quick to recognise a gap and an opportunity for expansion into the Australian market. We look forward to continuing to build our reputation for excellence amongst local shoppers as well as international visitors on holiday in the city,” he added.

The first pawnbroker to be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, Maxi-Cash has firmly established itself as a leader in the pawn-broking industry with 47 boutiques across Asia, including Singapore and Malaysia. Maxi-Cash is part of the Aspial Group, the jewellery and investment group also behind the Australia 108 development.

The LuxeSTYLE by Maxi-Cash boutique is located at 111 Swanston Street, taking up prime frontage on the ground floor of the Capitol Arcade building.

The store will operate from 10am to 7pm, Mondays to Fridays and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
