Impressive outfits, with a touch of denim, flooded the blue carpet at the Jeans for Genes Denim Dinner, held at The Star Sydney.

Streamed live on Facebook by TV personality, Scott Tweedie, celebrities including Michelle Bridges, Commando, Lincoln Lewis, Dan Conn and Leisel Jones came together for the annual event, which raises money for Children’s Medical Research Institute.

Australia’s most loved TV duo, Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur, hosted the event, encouraging guests to donate to the cause.

Renowned auctioneer, Scott Gibbons, also known as ‘Mr Sold’, led an exciting, live auction with guests bidding record amounts for unique auction items including the ultimate USA experience with Delta Airlines, a SMEG fridge coated in denim, and an original Nafisa Naomi artwork featuring Hugh Jackman and his signed jeans.

The aptly named Denim Dinner featured a never-before-seen chandelier made with over 100 celebrity-signed jeans, dubbed ‘the jeandelier’.

Guests were treated to show-stopping performances from the cast of Kinky Boots, Esther Hannaford and Erin Holland, which had guests dancing and raising money into the early hours.

Celebrities in attendance included: Erin Holland, Steve Willis and Michelle Bridges, actor and singer Johnny Ruffo, radio host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli, celebrity personal trainer Cam Byrnes, celebrity personal trainer Libby Babet, TV personalities Candice Dixon and Sam Webb, actors David Berry and Joel Jackson, Seven’s My Kitchen Rules contestants, David Vu and Betty Banks.
