Over a decade since the launch of KeepCup, co-founder Jamie Forsyth has launched Returnr — a first-to-market business with an aim to eliminate single-use takeaway food packaging.

With an overarching objective to replace single-use plastics, Forsyth has developed 100% recycla-ble and re-usable takeaway food packaging, encouraging a shift towards more sustainable food service practices.

Since Returnr quietly launched in Melbourne at the end of 2018 with a custom-designed stain-less-steel bowl, it has diverted 85,000 single-use plastic bowls from consumption and landfill.

The future looks promising with that number set to expand rapidly — stainless-steel coffee cups for both hot and cold beverages will launch in July, and more products to come before the year’s up.

If that’s not enough, in a world first, Returnr has partnered with Deliveroo to offer customers the op-tion of foregoing disposable packaging. Not only will this help reduce landfill, but also offer custom-ers a better eating experience — minimising food spills and leakages. This month is Plastic Free July. Refuse single-use plastic and join the Returnr movement instead.

Returnr is the solution for environmentally conscious consumers looking for a sustainable solution to takeaway and food delivery services.
