As none of us will be heading away internationally for quite a while yet, the best thing to be doing is discovering or rediscovering delectable Australia.

I was very fortunate to be invited to be part of the #RoadTripPledge – and experiencing the absolute gorgeousness that is the south coast of New South Wales, on Gerroa beach.

The #RoadTripPledge is an Australian regeneration promise, created by the online holiday house rental website, Stayz, in support of regional towns and families impacted by the Summer bushfires and then Covid-19 travel bans.

Leading the pledge are Aussie faces Like Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Cameron Daddo and Alison Brahe, Jamie Durie, Adam Liaw, Benji and Zoe Marshall, Tom Williams and Dr Katrina Warren and their families.

The house we stayed at – on Stafford Street – was on the northern end of Gerroa beach with a rolling grass lawn that went directly down to the rocks and just a minute walk to the sounds and sand of the beach. It was truly spectacular.

I also love the 7 Point Checklist Family Road Trip Guide by leading and always amiable psychologist, Dr. Michael Carr-Gregg.
