Sephora has opened their first Brisbane store at Westfield Chermside yesterday as part of the centre’s hotly anticipated redevelopment.

This will be Sephora’s eighth Australian store, its second store in Queensland, after opening in Gold Coast’s Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in July 2016.

The beauty giant, owned by LVMH, also has stores in Sydney and Melbourne, contributing to its strong list of more than 2500 stores worldwide.

Country Manager from Sephora Australia, Libby Amelia, says the global beauty authority is thrilled to be a part of Westfield Chermside’s redevelopment plans and offer Brisbane beauty enthusiasts, access to the wonderful world of Sephora.

“Launching our first ever Brisbane store is a very exciting time for Sephora Australia.

After such great success with our Pacific Fair store launch on the Gold Coast, it was clear that we needed to bring a Sephora store offering to the sunshine state capital and with many of Brisbane’s beauty junkies already shopping with us on, the new Westfield Chermside development was the perfect answer”, said Ms Amelia.

The new Westfield Chermside store is part of a $355 million redevelopment of the Brisbane shopping centre, which is set to become the largest Westfield centre in Queensland.

The 414 sqm store will incorporate direct-from-the-US fixtures such as the Beauty Studio, which gives customers exclusive, one-on-one access to Sephora’s experts as part of Sephora’s complimentary and paid beauty services.

Westfield Chermside Centre Manager, Garth Haslam welcomed the global beauty authority to their expansive retail list.
