[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Witchery and the OCRF have announced the Hon Julie Bishop MP as an ambassador for the 2019 White Shirt Campaign.

Serving as Member for Curtin in the House of Representatives since 1998, Ms Bishop was sworn in as Australia’s first female Foreign Minister in 2013 until 2018. She was Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party for 11 years. In February 2019, she announced she would not recontest her seat at the forthcoming federal election.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image media=”64759″ media_width_percent=”100″ alignment=”center” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]”Throughout my political career, I sought to be an advocate for women and girls, particularly as Minister for Foreign Affairs and as Minister for Women’s Issues. The stories from researchers and patients involved in the OCRF are deeply moving, and I am honoured to be Ambassador for this important campaign that seeks to find an early detection test and cure for ovarian cancer.”

2019 marks Witchery’s eleventh annual White Shirt Campaign in partnership with the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). The White Shirt Campaign’s mission is to raise much needed funds to support vital research endeavours to develop an early detection test for ovarian cancer as readily available and habitual as a pap smear or mammogram. For every White Shirt sold, Witchery will donate 100% of the gross proceeds to the OCRF. The collection will be available to shop online and in Witchery stores in Australia and New Zealand from 10th April to 8th May 2019.
