Celebrating their ninth studio album ‘Concrete and Gold’ – their seventh to go #1 in Australia – and this month’s stadium tour down under, rock ‘n’ roll legends the Foo Fighters have partnered with local brewers Young Henrys on a limited edition, Young Henrys and Foo Fighters ‘Foo Town’ lager.

Young Henrys co-founder Oscar McMahon said, “Getting a call to say the Foo Fighters want to brew a beer with Young Henrys was huge for us. We’re also stoked for our mates DZ Deathrays, who are joining them on tour again. It’s thanks to working with local legends like them that we’ve got the opportunity to brew a beer with one of the world’s best known rock bands.”

The brew is available exclusively at Foo Fighters pop-up boozers in Sydney and Melbourne next week, giving fans a chance to listen to the new album, drink schooners of Foo Town and get their hands on exclusive merchandise from the band. Sydneysiders (and fans who make the pilgrimage) get first taste of the Foo Town brew with the takeover of Surry Hills’ Hollywood Hotel, transforming it into the Foo Fighters Hotel from 24th–27th January. Next, Melbourne rock institution Cherry Bar becomes Fooie Bar for four days: from 27th – 30th January.

Following the takeovers, a limited number of cans will be available through national bottle shop retailers and the Young Henrys website, www.younghenrys.com
