Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair goes live

The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) is live via its cutting-edge online platform – connecting audiences around the world with Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander creatives.

Running online for the second year in a row, the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair is the largest event of its kind in Australia, connecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Centres with art buyers around the world, while creating wider community awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art in innovative ways. The online exhibition portal is available via the DAAF website and  enables Art Centres to showcase and sell their artists’ work.

Most importantly, DAAF takes no commissions on the artworks sold, with 100 per cent of sales returning to Art Centres and their communities. In addition to the fair, DAAF is set to host a vibrant Public Program of cultural performances, artist masterclasses and artist talks hosted on the DAAF website and presented via Zoom.

Due to popular demand, the masterclasses have sold out, however, Artist Talks are still available for the public to secure a ticket. Access to the full program can be viewed on here: https://daaf.com.au/public-program-2021/
