The Four Pillars gin distillery in Healesville, Victoria has swept all before it and become the first ever Australian craft spirit to be awarded Australia’s Liquor Brand of the Year.

The past three winners of the award have been Jack Daniel’s (2016), Aperol (2017) and Furphy (2018).

“As we approach just our sixth birthday it must be said it’s been a pretty epic year and this surely caps it off nicely. Cam, Matt and I had a bit of a pipe dream of creating a world-leading craft gin business here in Australia back in 2013, and it really does seem that the dream might be coming true. There is a huge family of people to thank that starts with all of our staff past and present, our partners at Vanguard from the get-go and Lion more recently, our families, friends and partners around the world and every bartender, retailer, bar back, glassy and good old drinker who has ever thought ‘maybe I will give that Aussie gin a go’.
