The Star Championships race days: Tasting at Sokyo

To celebrate The Star Championships as part of the Autumn Racing Carnival at Royal Randwick, celebrity guests and media joined official ambassador, TV presenter Abbey Gelmi for a ‘taste of the autumn’ races at Sokyo for a sit down dinner.

The Star’s award-winning Executive Chef of Sokyo, Chase Kojima, who is the Official Culinary Ambassador for the Autumn Carnival, presented guests with the Japanese inspired bespoke race day menu at Sokyo.

The four-course feast included tuna tataki, kingfish miso ceviche, shiokoji toothfish with pumpkin puree, roasted cauliflower with yuzu miso and a caramel macchiato for dessert following a Sokyo signature cocktail, Chasing Kojima, a delightful combination of Yuzu sake, pink grapefruit, lemongrass and elderflower.
