The (un)Real Housewives of the Gold Coast opens August 26 – for one week only – at the Grand Electric

After an explosive ‘season’, the drama queens of the GC are heading south to Sydney’s brilliant live show venue, Grand Electric, for one hell of a reunion. The Grand Electric has become one of my favourite live small show venues in Sydney – think Titanique, Blanc de Blanc & Limbo the Return.

***The (un)real Housewives of the GC – the musical***

From Tuesday 26 to Saturday 30 August – yes, for one week only – audiences are invited to the ‘live taping’ of the un(Real) Housewives of the GC where dynamo host Nick Hardcastle will hold court over a no-holds-barred musical comedy. Nick will be seeing over the (un)ladies who return to spill secrets, squash beef and stir up a storm, all in the name of good, messy fun.

With original songs, sharp satire, and more Housewives references than a Bravo binge, this 60-minute b*tch-fest promises to be purely good fun. And isn’t that what we need?

Expect drama, divas, designer outfits and a dance number or two, all strictly for those aged 18+. Whether you love the Housewives or love to hate the whole concept. this show will have you laughing, gasping and gossiping well after the curtain call.

I also noticed that Marney McQueen is doing a solo cabaret show this coming weekend at the Grand Electric: she is insanely good and starred as Celine Dion, in the smash hit, Titanique. Worth booking!
