Vittoria Coffee: Fashion Series at Icebergs

Vittoria Coffee launched the annual Vittoria Fashion Series for 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia during the week of May 12-18th. As a proud supporter of the Australian Fashion Industry, the Vittoria Fashion Series is a unique collection of limited edition ceramic and takeaway cups, created by Australia’s best designer talent. Vittoria Coffee hosted an intimate canapé lunch at Icebergs Dining Room Bar to celebrate the launch.

Designers engaged in the Fashion Series along with fashion, food and lifestyle media and digital influencers were hosted by Rolando Schriato, Managing Director, Vittoria Food and Beverage. The roaming canapé lunch featured signature Icebergs Regional Italian cuisine, while Perrier Jouët and Aperol Spritz were served on arrival. The Fashion Series designer cups were displayed throughout the space, highlighted by signature Vittoria gold accents and deep, tonal florals.

It is about controlling what people see and don’t see.”

The two prints featured offer a nod to the era of surrealism and impressionism and remain loyal to the brand’s denim foundations. Nobody Denim embraced this theme of wearable art to collaborate with inspirational young artist, Talia Blank to create an impactful print featuring the inquisitive curves of the female face. The brand’s second design celebrates denim’s truest hue, the Indigo Rinse, as a homage to Nobody Denim 20th anniversary.

Venroy’s Bondi Sunset sunset print captures the spirit of Sydney, while the brush stroke design ties in the artisanal nature of hand painting with the technical nature of Venroy’s iconic swim shorts.

The brand’s iconic, bespoke floral prints are brought to life by the rich and vibrant autumnal colour palette and a mixture of bohemia and sensuality, showcasing the DNA of the brand.

Whitehouse Institute of Design Student, Caroline Reznik received $5,000 to further her studies as a part of the award, as well as the opportunity to be featured in the Vittoria Fashion Series, alongside leading Australian designers who have a strong presence not only locally, but on a global level. Vittoria Coffee Design Award winner, Caroline Reznik looks to Renaissance artwork and Classical Ballet for inspiration for the two line drawing prints selected to be a part of the Vittoria Fashion Series for 2019.

The ultra-modern pop-up installation has been designed utilising a zero waste construction method and is a nod to Vittoria’s influence on Australia’s cafe culture.
