Volvo Car Australia has announced a new partnership with Into The Wild Escapes, designed to celebrate the launch of Volvo’s smallest, all-electric SUV, the EX30. The collaboration will take guests on a journey of discovery that celebrates sustainable design concepts, connecting motoring and lifestyle.
In a move towards sustainable travel, Volvo Cars and Into The Wild Escapes have created a Scandinavian-inspired ‘tiny home’ that embodies the principles of minimalist luxury and eco-friendly living, to champion how thoughtful design can deliver powerful experiences.

The Volvo Cars x Into The Wild tiny home, ‘Tiny Astrid’, will be available for consumers to book from November this year via the Into The Wild website.
Named after the famous Swedish author Astrid Lindgren, creator of Pippi Longstocking, the tiny home has been crafted with nature-inspired interiors and renewable, recycled materials, to create a serene oasis for those seeking to reconnect with the natural world.
Encouraging travellers to embrace a more considered lifestyle, the partnership provides a holistic approach to sustainable travel, offering up a unique experience for those seeking a small, yet immersive getaway. Each booking includes overnight accommodation at Tiny Astrid in addition to use of the brand new Volvo EX30 as an optional add-on for travellers hoping to extend their eco-conscious journey beyond their tiny home sanctuary.

Committed to safety and environmental responsibility, Volvo Cars is renowned for their Scandinavian design, advanced technology, and dedication to reducing carbon footprints. With a focus on delivering exceptional driving experiences and pioneering electric mobility solutions, Volvo Cars continues to set benchmarks for automotive excellence and eco-friendly practices in Australia and beyond.

By 2025, Volvo Cars aims for at least 50% of its global sales volume to consist of fully electric cars, with the remainder being hybrids. This strategic initiative marks a significant milestone in the Volvo Cars journey towards achieving full electrification by 2030.
Designed to have the smallest carbon footprint of any Volvo car, each EX30 blends colour-coordinated upholsteries and decor sources from renewable and recycled materials. Volvo Cars believes in the power of ‘small’, embodying the idea that sometimes thinking small can lead to the biggest innovations, with simpler control features and displays to help make driving feel more intuitive.

As a small SUV that accomplishes big things, the new Volvo EX30 is designed to make people’s lives safer, more convenient and enjoyable through cutting-edge technology and Scandinavian design.
Crafting restorative experiences in nature, Into The Wild Escapes offers eco-wellness accommodations threw off-grid tiny houses in secluded regional areas across Australia. With over 55 hidden locations across the country, each hideaway provides a soothing, minimalist experience designed to reconnect travellers with nature. These tiny homes are equipped with eco-friendly products, creating the perfect sanctuary for rewilding and recharging.

To kick off the partnership, Tiny Astrid will be popping up in three major cities across Australia giving locals a taste of The Small Life. Visitors will have the chance to check out the new Volvo EX30 and tiny home for themselves, before the home is deployed to its permanent location for bookable stays.
