Kim was chosen from a strong field of finalists which included Kate Morris, CEO and Founder of Adore Beauty, Dr Catriona Wallace, CEO & Founder of Flamingo AI, Emma Welsh, Co-Founder of Emma & Tom’s and Grace Wong, CMO & Co-Founder of Liven.

Hollywood actress, producer and activist, Kate Bosworth, who flew from Los Angeles especially for the event, spoke in her keynote address about empowering woman and about her passion for telling important stories. She shared the story of Nona, a film she produced with her husband. filmmaker Michael Polish to expose the world of sex trafficking. Kate was executor producer on the project. It was created in 1972 to coincide with the bicentenary of the Clicquot Maison, and has recognised bold female entrepreneurs and their professional successes with every successive yea. Like the Veuve Clicquot herself, the award has enjoyed an international dimension, honouring more than 300 women in 27 countries since its inception.
Kim Jackson was chosen by a panel of judges as the female entrepreneur who best reflects Madame Clicquot’s qualities of innovation, audacity and fearlessness. Like Madame Clicquot, Kim is a true trailblazer, with a vision to back “phenomenal entrepreneurs who have a passion for solving a big problems”. Skip Capital invests heavily in start-ups led and founded by women – around half its investment pool – as well as businesses focused on health, clean energy and workplace equality. Says Kim Jackson of her win: “I’m proud to be recognised alongside so many talented business women and am committed to continuing to support big ideas and growing Australian innovation.”
